Thanks to her, we managed to buy the appropriate PMA that suits my mother. Really appreciate her help. Cheers:)
Very good service! Hospitable to elderly queries. Second purchase for my father for his mobility scooter.
📌You can now apply for AMS 🩺
AMS Required For Users of Mobility Scooters; Seniors Age ≥ 70 Exempted
What is AMS:
Paid Assessment for Mobility Scooters at selected clinics to certify use.
When is the certificate required:
From 1st June 2026
Who is exempted:
- Seniors age 70 and above
- PMA grant beneficiaries
- Applicants of selected MOH disability schemes who have been assessed with ADL needs
Read full 2026 Finalised PMA Rules.
How to get certified?
STEP 1:
🏥 Call or Find Suitable Clinic
- Ask your regular doctor, if not
- View the list of GP clinics
- View the list of OT clinics
- Ask about the availability of AMS
- Ask if they can help you submit the digital form
- If not, print and bring the assessment form
STEP 2:
📁 Bring All Medical Documents
- X-rays, reports, past diagnoses — having everything ready makes the consultation smoother.
From our experience, different clinics may have different protocols (a possible teething phase), so it’s wise to have a 𝐁𝐀𝐂𝐊𝐔𝐏 𝐏𝐋𝐀𝐍 in case you need to visit another clinic.
STEP 3:
📤 Submit Form
- Method 1: Doctor/Assessor submit Digital Assessment Form
- Method 2: Photo of Hardcopy Assessment Form By You
- Submit the form here
✅ Verify CMN status by logging into OneMotoring site via Singpass.
Can I buy a mobility scooter now?
Yes, you may! Retailers do not require CMN before 1 Jun 2026, but do try to go for the assessment by then.
What should I do with my illegal PMA/PMD?
It is highly recommended that you trade it in for a legal device with MOBOT as we offer legal PMDs and PABs.
After 1st June 2026, LTA has the right to impound your illegal mobility devices, even from your homes.
🚨 Seizure = $0 Value
